Description
FSI was awarded a three-year contract by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to provide medical treatment facilities operations, maintenance, and repair work to the 23rd Medical Group at Moody AFB, Georgia.
Facility Services will perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, testing and inspection of all systems and equipment to include RPIE Inventory. FSI also provides project management, QC, and safety oversight. FSI has been providing operations and maintenance work at Moody AFB Clinic since April of 2016.
Moody AFB is home of the world famous "Flying Tigers" Combat Search & Rescue and Security Forces. Originally formed as the American Volunteer Group, the Flying Tigers helped defend China against the Japanese during World War II. Their US-made Curtiss P-40 Warhawk aircraft, and its predecessors, are the only U.S. Air Force Aircraft authorized to carry the iconic "shark-teeth" nose paint.
